Automotive Test Lab Results
The proof that Not All Parts Are Created Equal...
NTN AUTOMOTIVE TEST LAB:
NTN’s Automotive Test Lab, located in Farmington Hills, Michigan, is a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to rigorous product testing and engineering. We ensure our OE and Aftermarket lines meet the highest quality standards—and regularly benchmark competitor products.
A recent inspection of a competitor's wheel bearings revealed several critical findings. Although marketed as precision-made with premium materials and tested to meet or exceed OE standards, our analysis told a different story.
Below is what our lab uncovered:
Test Conclusions:
While none of the competitor bearings failed every test, each product did fail to meet NTN’s minimum specs for OE-quality in multiple tests.
These inspections were performed in an NTN Automotive Test Lab comparing BCA Bearings to six competitor products for benchmarking purposes. Examination was done with state-of-the-art equipment under a scanning electron microscope.
